Thomas Caponegro brings to both Brown Harris Stevens and his clients a wealth of real estate experience spanning more than two decades.

With thousands of transactions to his credit, ranging from commercial leasing to residential sales and on-site new construction and development, Tom is viewed by many to be a master at negotiations, pricing and marketing.

Tom’s vast experience and success led to his appointment as Director of Marketing and Leasing for Trump Place in 1998, in which over 1,300 apartments, totaling in excess of 50 million dollars in annual revenue, were entrusted to him for their careful pricing, marketing and management.

Having entered real estate in order to combine his love for working with people along with his appreciation for architecture, construction and housing, Tom helps his buyers locate the right property by educating them about current market conditions and assisting them through the negotiation, application/board package and closing process. Sellers especially appreciate Tom’s marketing and negotiating skills when entrusting him with the sale of their home.

Born in New Jersey and educated both here and abroad, Tom was a professional opera singer prior to turning to real estate. He has studied at several of the world’s finest universities and conservatories before performing with the Vienna Volks Opera in Vienna, Austria and the Bastille Opera of Paris, France.

Tom is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York as well as a licensed Realtor in New Jersey and has spent many years living on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, East Side and in Midtown.
