Relationships. Riley believes in the practice of creating relationships in which he and his clients work together to achieve their goals. Riley brings to the table a deep understanding of the process of real estate sales which complements his commitment to service, his technical expertise and his understanding of the marketplace. In representing Sellers Riley opens the market to buyers and welcomes other brokers in order to most effectively garner the best price in the shortest time with the most qualified buyer. For Buyers, he listens carefully to what they have to say about their needs so that he can provide the best help. He will always take the time to clarify the real estate process so that buyers and sellers understand it and can make the best decisions for themselves.
Riley has cultivated successful relationships with sellers, buyers and brokers both within his company and across the marketplace. After successfully concluding a particularly difficult transaction, the real estate professional opposite him thanked him for his “professionalism, good spirit and just plain good sense.” And a seller enthusiastically reported that with Riley he had been “represented by a consummate professional of the highest standards, who also happens to be a very fine person.” He brings “integrity, expertise and dedication” to his work, and the relationships with people he represents. He is patient and understanding, fair minded and ethical. Riley has been a long-standing and proud member of The Real Estate Board of New York. He is a certified NYRS® (New York Residential Specialist) and a CNE (Certified Negotiation Expert).
Outside of Real Estate Riley has combined his passion for bicycling with his support of and personal connection to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Every October since 1996 he has cycled in Bike MS NYC to help raise funds for research to find a cure for this extremely debilitating disease. And each year he joins the annual Kids for Kids Carnival for the benefit of the Pediatric Aids Foundation, volunteering his time and energy to support the efforts begun by his childhood friend, Elizabeth Glazer.
