She has also capably handled 1031 exchanges, probates, trust sales and corporate relocations for her clients. In addition, Myrel has been involved in various aspects of construction and development, from locating vacant sites through architectural and design consultation, cost analysis and marketing strategies.

Licensed in both New York and California, Myrel is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York, the National Association of Realtors, C.A.R. and the Greater S.F. Association of Realtors. This native New Yorker graduated from Brooklyn College and received an MA. in Cinema Studies from NYU. After a brief period teaching, she found her calling in real estate. Myrel owes her success to her negotiating skills, her love of helping people and her encyclopedic knowledge of the market. She possesses a thorough and intimate understanding of the city, its history, and its many unique and eclectic neighborhoods.
Myrel lives with her filmmaker husband in Carroll Gardens. Her passions include architecture, art and design, independent cinema, ceramics and fiber arts. Whether she is at work showing property, commuting, or has “free time”, she is always on her bicycle: exploring and photographing our ever-changing city.
