Born in Manhattan, Mary earned her BA in Psychology from C.W. Post College, where she graduated cum laude. After earning her MBA in Finance from Fordham University, she held executive positions in banking prior to transferring her knowledge to residential sales. Mary’s involvement in all facets of real estate for the past 30 years fuels her effectiveness in helping achieve clients’ goals and exceed their expectations. Mary has served on the Board of Real Estate Lenders Association, the Association of Real Estate Women (AREW), the AREW Charitable Fund, the Young Mortgage Bankers Association and the New York Women’s Agenda.
She also supports several local philanthropic organizations including the Bowery Mission which cares for the homeless, Kid’s With a Promise which sends NYC kids to summer camp, and The New England Society in the City of NY which provides college scholarships to NYC students. Mary’s love of dance has also inspired her involvement with Jennifer Muller/The Works, a modern dance company in Chelsea, and in fundraising for Dancing Classrooms which teaches NYC public grade school children the art of dance for free. She is additionally a mentor in a special church-sponsored program. Mary works alongside her husband of 23 years, Harry Chung, at Douglas Elliman.
