While being recognized as a Top 10 Halstead agent and a member of Halstead’s Producers Council, putting him in the top 5 % of Halstead sales professionals, his most notable accomplishments are the respect, compliments and loyalty he’s earned from the diverse group of clients he serves.


While Jay is experienced in all of Manhattan, he is a specialist in the Upper West Side and Williamsburg, Brooklyn; two neighborhoods he has fondness for as well as expert-level knowledge. He has found buyers great homes and investments, strategically marketed and sold all types of properties for individual owners, and launched new developments such as 80 Metropolitan and 58 Metropolitan in Williamsburg, where as the Exclusive Broker he directed a sales team and remains the Broker Specialist in both residences.


Jay brings a unique passion and contagious enthusiasm to his work thanks to his intrigue with the city’s history and architecture, two factors which spark his passion for New York City real estate. Jay’s extensive business background fuels his effectiveness. Prior to entering real estate he worked in advertising and public relations at well-known companies such as the Cleveland Indians, Young & Rubicam, and Ziff Davis Publishing. In addition, he founded and directed a computer technology firm in Chicago, which he grew into a multi-million dollar operation before selling in 2002.


Jay is an avid American and English history buff and extensive international traveler. His New York City life is dedicated to health and fitness, while partaking in the arts, golf, and supporting his local New York sports teams. He is also a member of the New York Road Runners Club and the Screen Actors Guild.
