Kay has been a Real Estate Broker with Halstead Property from its start in 1984, and recently received a special 30 year loyalty award. Kay is an excellent negotiator and listener and is very dedicated to her Clients. She sells a broad market range of real estate including townhouses, lofts, condos, and co-ops. Her clients, both U.S. and non-U.S.citizens, have been approved in the top ten co-op buildings in New York.
Since graduating from college and getting her master’s degree in New York, all of her work experience has been in New York. Previous job experience includes selling high-tech medical equipment ( CT Scanners, MRI) and many phases of publishing. She was Director of Research for the News Election Service in 1968, collecting the raw vote via a computer system for networks and wire services.
Kay is a philanthropist and is involved in many aspects of New York’s cultural life. She has always been an active volunteer and fundraiser. Currently she is on the Advisory Council of the Hospitality Committee for the United Nations, the Collectors Group at the Museum of Arts and Design, and various committees at The Explorers Club, including The Legacy Society.
When not working, Kay enjoys traveling and scientific expeditions including collecting soil samples when climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro (19,340 feet) and helping restore petroglyphs on Easter Island. She is on the Race Committee for Cowes Week, (Isle of Wight, U.K.) and a walker/hiker. She entertains often in her home and enjoys the friendship of many diverse people.
