Kristin Hurd comes from a long lineage of real estate entrepreneurs. In the 1950s, her grandfather started the largest and most successful real estate firm in Ohio. The apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree.
Prior to her joining Brown Harris Stevens in 2012; throughout her career, Kristin has managed over 200 brokers and completed over a billion dollars in real estate transactions. At one of her prior companies she received some of the most prestigious broker awards in the industry, including Rookie of the Year and Manager of the Year. Her talent for selling and managing new developments has allowed her to work one-on-one with international investment banks, hedge funds, and some of New York and New Jersey’s largest real estate developers.
Just before joining Brown Harris Stevens, she had the distinction of being named one of New York Real Estate Journal’s Women in Real Estate 2012. In 2014, she was inducted into the Brown Harris Stevens Relocation and Referral Division Circle of Excellence.
Her philosophy reflects the fundamental belief that her job is to be of service to her clients. Kristin’s services are individually tailored to her clients’ needs. As a result, she has a long list of very happy clients.
She has spent a great deal of time performing Philanthropic work and has actively worked on various Boards of Directors for several not-for-profits. She is currently on the Advisory Board for UUA NGO at the United Nations.
