With over a decade of experience at Brown Harris Stevens, David Kornmeier is a consistent top producer.
David has established himself as a creative and meticulous broker, closing many complex transactions all over Manhattan. In 2012, the Wall Street Journal and REAL Trends ranked David the #10 residential agent in Manhattan and #50 in the United States for total sales volume.
Most recently, David has achieved many notable sales, including a $19,500,000 Fifth Avenue apartment, a boutique $28,600,000 midtown hotel and he set a record for the highest priced Upper West Side townhouse that was not on a Central Park block – $14,500,000.
A majority of David’s business comes from repeat clients and referrals. His strong referral network is one of the reasons that David is the youngest Senior Vice President, Managing Director in the history of the firm.
Sellers and buyers appreciate David’s value-added approach. Utilizing his comprehensive knowledge of zoning regulations, landmark policy, violations, landlord/tenant laws, estate matters and renovation/layout choices, David helps clients reach an empowered and informed decision.
Outside of real estate, David can be found sailing, skiing, playing hockey and basketball, working out at the Reebok Sports Club and climbing mountains around the world. An alum of the Sidwell Friends School in Washington, D.C. and Carleton College in Minnesota, David is an active member of the Real Estate Board of New York.
